What is ShorWall?

The ShorWall System is an innovative approach to building subterranean structures. Following completion of the large diameter perimeter earth retaining wall system, the designer is free to create any type of suitable space inside.

ShorWall structures are circular and are built from the ‘top down’. The finished structure can be thought of as a series of stacked concrete rings, resulting in a cylindrical structure. Once complete, the hollow interior of the structure can be used for bulk storage, or may be constructed with interior walls, decks, ramps and other features to conform to the structure’s intended use (see Applications page for utilization examples).
